Aunt Flow is HIRING

YOU have the opportunity to change the world, one cycle at a time. 

Aunt Flow Background: Aunt Flow is committed to ensuring everyone has access to menstrual products. We accomplish this by selling 100% organic cotton, non-applicator tampons to businesses so that they can offer them to their customers and employees for free. Toilet paper is free, why aren’t tampons? We are currently providing tampons to organizations ranging from Harvard University to the local coffee shop.
In addition to our business to business model, we sell our tampons direct to consumer at auntflow.org. For every tampon purchased, one is donated to a menstruator in need.

Business Development / Sales

Some people call it sales. We call it an advocate. 

FULL-TIME. Based in Columbus, Ohio. Business travel required. Starting Mid-September/October.

Job Description: You will design, research, and create an effective sales strategy for Aunt Flow's business-to-business sales. You will prospect sales, generate outbound sales, You are personally driven and thrive with limited structure. You have a make it happen – team player attitude that is fun and optimistic. As a detailed self-starter, you will create a CRM and maintain relationships. You are ready to challenge ideas and suggest alternatives. You will get on the phone, knock on doors, and do whatever it takes to make the sale.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Educate on menstruation, the necessity of tampons, and the menstrual movement
Work with research partners to determine key selling points; use research to assess and determine target markets
• Create marketing strategy to reach target market
Create sales pitch decks
Determine or create an optimized CRM
Execute outreach and coordination
Travel to sales meetings across the US
Scout and attend trade shows
Oversee junior-level salespeople
Reports directly to the CEO, Claire Coder
Qualifications: Previous experience in sales, sales strategy, and creating large corporate partnerships is a plus. MUSTS are below:
Period positive: If you cannot say the word "TAMPON" out loud in front of the CEO at a large company, this is not the role for you.
Hustle and grit: The week is not over on Friday. The week is over when everything is accomplished. You MUST be excited about your specific role, but also about getting your hands dirty in our warehouse. 
Thrive with limited structure: This is not a typical 9-5 job. You can come and go when you need to. You can work from home. 
Willingness to try a million things: There is not always an equation for success. You might think that one thing is going to generate 100 leads. When it doesn't, what do you do? 
Ready to get on the phone: You must believe enough in the mission to reach out six times until you are connected with the decision maker. Show up at their door. Write them a postcard. Send them a tampon. 
Crafty: There are so many tools on the internet to help make your life easier. Use them for yourself and share it with the team.
The monies: Contracted for the first 3 months and then opportunity for full-time employment. Salary + Commission. Potential opportunity for equity.

Executive Assistant/Warehouse Manager

FULL-TIME. Based in Columbus, Ohio. Starting Mid-September/October.

Job Description: You have a can do energy with a plan-ful ways of getting things done. You thrive with the behind the scenes hard work that is essential for the greater goal. You are motivated by doing the right thing by people. You have a make it happen – team player attitude that is fun and optimistic. As a detailed self-starter, you enjoy balancing project driven work, at times calling for navigating pop up requests, along with being counted on for delivering on routine responsibilities. You possess a high sense of confidentiality in all matters. You are savvy in your keen sense of problem solving by striving for excellence every day, being well organized and resourceful. You have a professional yet friendly communication style at all times; often interfacing in person and via email with community leaders. As the direct Executive Assistant to the CEO, you have the ability to anticipate needs, be intuitively informed, prioritize, and think ahead to plan on behalf of the CEO. You will take ownership of managing her calendar for the sake of being responsive to requests/and proactively engaging in the community, while being efficient and balancing demands of time. You will sit in on meetings with the CEO to take notes and assess action items. You will be a contributing member to a dynamic, high performing team with an optimistic and results oriented approach. You are able to self-initiate and be proactive in your approach to projects. You will continually work to increase efficiency and develop a mindset of looking for ways to save time and maximize resources.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  •  Educate on menstruation, the necessity of tampons, and the menstrual movement
  • Assist the CEO with scheduling, correspondence, meeting preparations including meeting reminders, agendas, materials
  • Maintain the CEO’s schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, appointments, community engagements, and travel.
  • Produce presentations, reports, documents, and materials to prepare for business meetings
  •  Develop and maintain relationships and good rapport with key partners and individuals within and outside the organization
  • Provide assistance and coordination for large event logistics
  • Prepare, fill, and ship product
  • Provide leadership in coordinating team meetings; may include facilitation of monthly team meetings
  • Accomplish routine tasks and projects on deadline and in coordination with appropriate team members
  • Manage ongoing and project specific contractors for the operational needs of the organization; such as the IT/technology contractor and landlord
  • Maintain at all times a high level of confidentiality in all matters
  • Maintain at all times a high level of community stakeholder confidence.
